I'm sure all
of you are aware of the american heroes Luke and Bo from
"Dukes of Hazzard". They entertained our childhoods from
January 1979 to February 1985. Now they were always getting
into trouble with the law, namely involving the stalwart
Sherrif Rosco P. (Purvis) Coltrane and the flamboyant Boss
Hogg.
Just Looking over the theme song and you know
this show was destined to be #1
quote:
Just two good old boys, never meanin' no
harm.... Beats all you never saw, been in trouble with
the law Since the day they was born.
Straightnin'
the curves, flatten the hills.... Someday the mountain
might get 'em, but the law never will....
Makin'
their way, the only way they know how.... That's just a
little bit more than the law will allow.
Just two
good ol' boys, wouldn't change if they could, Fightin'
the system like two modern-day Robin Hoods....
But as I was thinking the other day it
occurred to me that our heroes must have encountered tragedy
and misfortune elsewhere in our great nation. During my
research I found that Bo was a huge NASCAR fan and actually
broke onto the track with the General Lee on one fateful
day.
Now I know the quality of this might be poor
as the cameraman was undoubtely shaking from the pure shock of
this tragic event. I would like to know if any of you have
researched this matter and what you might have found.
